Our Purpose
It pleased God… to reveal his Son in me… —Galatians 1:15-16
A German pastor once asked Major Ian Thomas what was his purpose in life. Without hesitating, Major Thomas replied, “My purpose is to make the invisible Christ visible.”
Good answer! The life of Jesus Christ is to be lived in and through us (Gal. 2:20). Jesus Christ proposes to clothe His life with your body, and live it again in this 21st century as He lived it in the 1st century.
Paul wrote, “Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death” (Phil. 1:20). If your Christianity does not reveal God’s Son in you, it is not Biblical Christianity.
