FIVE MONTHS ON THE ROAD
I resigned from pastoring Bible Baptist Church five months ago (Aug. 18, 2018). After traveling over 5,000 miles Barb and I have been from the West Coast to the East Coast… From Northern Michigan to Southern Florida. We visited family and many friends from years ago and made many new friends along the way. What a blessing! God has opened doors for me to preach and teach in several local churches. But, we still are not sure where the Lord wants us to put our “roots” down to serve Him in the future. We are prayerfully considering a couple of “open doors” for ministry while looking for other open doors.
We’ve been camped in the drive-way of Brian & Roberta Bennet in Jacksonville, FL since the end of November. What dear friends they are!!! Thank you Brian and Roberta for making us feel like a part of your family! We love you!
On January 31 we’ll leave Florida and head “west” through Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas (visit Eric and Amy Lessing), New Mexico, and Arizona. We’ll spend March in Arizona where I have a few preaching engagements. Before the end of March we hope to determine where God wants us to settle down. We’ll return to Port Orchard in April through ???? to take care of some business and gather our stuff from storage.
I know many people are praying for us. THANK YOU!!! Please continue to pray that God will make it clear to Barb and I where He wants to use us in the future. If you live in Arizona or Washington State, we hope to see in this spring.
Finally, Go M’s! Hope to catch a few spring training games while we are in Arizona!
