DOCTOR JESUS
“Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there?” —Jeremiah 8:22
Jeremiah asked in our text, “Is there a doctor in the house?” YES! His name is Doctor Jesus! He specializes in cases that no earthly doctor can heal.
Where other doctors may fail, Jesus can heal. A woman with a issue of blood spent all her living seeking one doctor after another and none could heal. Finally she came to Jesus and just one touch on the hem of His garment was all it took.
Jesus is the Great Physician:
- He always makes an accurate diagnosis
- He always prescribes the right medication.
- He’s never lost a patient
- He’s never been sued for malpractice (because He makes no mistakes)
- He never needs a second opinion
- He never charges for his services
- He never requires an appointment (walk- ins are welcome)
- He’s always on call (24/7)
- He responds to every emergency
- He makes house calls!
