No Such Thing

“And he is before all things. that in all things he might have the preeminence.” -Colossians 1:16, 18

There’s no such thing as a self made man. We are all composites of many people who have influenced our life in one way or another. There is no such thing as evolution.

We are human beings created in the image of God. There is no such thing as “luck.” There is no such thing as an atheist because no person can claim as an absolute certainty there is no God.

But consider this also. Since Jesus is before all things, and preeminent above all things, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS THE NEXT BEST THING TO JESUS! There is no such thing as the next best thing to being saved!

There is no such thing as the next best thing to God’s Holy Word (Ps. 138:2). There is no such thing as the next best thing to God’s love and care for His own.

Therefore we ought to be giving Him our best: the best of our efforts, the best of our days, the best of our talents, the best of everything we’ve got! Are you giving Him YOUR BEST?
