Installation Service for Jeremy DeSpain
On August 2, 2015 Bible Baptist Church held an installation service to add Pastor Jeremy DeSpain to the Leadership Team. The attached PDF notes include the order of service and the vows between the church and Bro. DeSpain at this service.
Ephesians 4:11-12
Paul wrote the church at Ephesus that God “gave gifts unto men” (Ephesians 4:8). Paul went to on describe these gifts— “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ” (Eph. 4:11-12).
As we have gathered together this morning, we do so with the intention to receive a new gift from God to our church family.
Not only has God given Bible Baptist Church the gift of a Senior Pastor… But now, He has also gifted us with Brother Jeremy DeSpain to work alongside of me as our Associate Pastor in leading this great congregation.
Furthermore… He has given us a man who will work in conjunction with us in reaching others in our community.
We have specially designated the ministry of young adults… the oversight and development of our Life Groups and media ministry… and the mentoring of new leaders as Brother DeSpain’s primary focus at this time.
However, we are also leaning upon him to help us assimilate and boost participation in any and all of our ministries.
Not to mention, gaining his involvement in follow-up with visitors and Church members.
All of which, Brother DeSpain has joyfully embraced and committed to lead in.
[Call Jeremy DeSpain to stand before the Congregation]
CHARGE TO PASTOR DeSPAIN:
Therefore, as you, Jeremy DeSpain, are being presented before the congregation of Bible Baptist Church this morning…
And, as you have been overwhelmingly “voted in” to serve in this capacity at a duly called Business Meeting on March 15, 2015.
Do you then receive this election to serve the Bible Baptist Church in the said capacity with humility, enthusiasm, and joy?

I was unable to be at service, but am so pleased to still be a part of this installation service by watching it online. Thank you for providing this for those of us who were unable to be there. I am so blessed to be a part of this church and look forward to many more years of service there.
Thank you Jesus! I’m so very thankful !
