On a Cloudy Day

On a Cloudy Day

And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them. —Job 37:21

Living in the Seattle area, we get more than our share of cloudy days. I heard on the local weather forecast this week that so far this year, we’ve only have four official sunny days. Gray skies can be depressing after awhile.

Job was experiencing some dark days in his life. Clouds obscured the bright light. But eventually, God sent a wind to blow away the clouds and the His light shined forth in Job’s life.

We must remember, that no matter how cloudy our skies may be, the sun is still shining in the clouds. Be patient dear Christian… God will eventually blow the clouds away and the sun will break through again.
