Saguaro National Park East

Saguaro National Park East

During our short stay in Tucson, we were blessed to spend the morning today in the Saguaro National Park East with Barb’s online friend, Ursula Schneider. Her knowledge of the vegetation and characteristics of their habitat was so helpful as we wandered the huge park.

We stopped for lunch afterward and Ursula introduced us to a local authentic Mexican restaurant. SO GOOD. Thank you, Ursula!

Enjoy some of our photo highlights… just a sampling of our collection.

We enjoyed the desert. Standing between a rock and prickly pear (a hard place).

The living and the dead

Al had to climb the rocks… Boy much?
