Do People Know You Love God?

If any man love God, the same is known of him. —1 Corinthians 8:3

It is apparent if a man loves God others will know it too.  It will show in his speech… his actions… his company… his priorities.

For example… If you love someone you want to please him. Do you seek to please God in what you do?

If you love someone you think about him.  How much do you think about the Lord throughout your day?

If you love someone you like to talk about him / brag about him.  Do you talk about the Lord and brag about Him to others?

If you love someone you like to be in his company. How much time do you spend in communion with the Lord?

If you love someone you enjoy doing things for him. Jesus asked Peter if he loved Him and Peter told that he did. Then Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.” What are you doing for Jesus that proves you love Him?

If you love someone you avoid his enemies and love his friends. If you love someone you won’t believe an evil report about him. If you love someone you rejoice when he succeeds.

As Paul said, “If any man love God, the same is known of him.”  How many people know that you love Jesus?
