The Bible’s Greatest Prayer Promise
The Bible’s Greatest Prayer Promise
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things.—Romans 8:32
What a remarkable statement. Dr. Jack Hyles called this verse, “The Bible’s greatest prayer promise.”
I don’t have any sons—I have four daughters. I don’t believe I would give any of them for the life of another. I would give my own life for my country… my wife… my family… my church. But, I don’t believe I would give any of my children to die for another.
But suppose I did give one of my children to die for you, and you came to me later and needed a pair of their shoes, don’t you think I would give you their shoes also… or their coat… or their watch. If I would give their precious life for you, how much more would I give you those things of lesser value.
Since God gave you His only begotten Son, the most valuable Person in the entire universe, don’t you think He will also take care of you in those lesser things of life?
