Heaven on Earth

“…as the days of heaven upon the earth.” Deuteronomy 11:21

If you went to heaven right now, what would the atmosphere be like?  You would be in an atmosphere of righteousness, love, joy, peace and praise.  That is what the heavenly realm is like.  When you release these things into your environment, you are creating a little bit of heaven on earth.

For example, when Jesus sent out His disciples, He told them when they entered a house, “let your peace come upon it” (Mt. 10:13).  They had the capacity to bring some of heaven into that house. When people enter your house, they should sense some peace, love, and joy there.

If you want the the kingdom of God to be manifested in you on a practical everyday basis, you must live righteously, joyfully, peacefully, and lovingly. You are releasing a heavenly atmosphere when these things are present in your life. When you sing praises unto God, you bring God into your environment because the Lord inhabits the praises of His people (Ps. 22:3).

The truth is, you create and control your own atmosphere you choose to live in. That is why we are exhorted to walk in the Spirit, because as you do, love, joy, and peace are released into the atmosphere around you (Gal. 5:22).  Contrariwise, when you walk in the flesh, you are releasing an atmosphere of hatred, variance, strife, etc (Gal. 5:19-21).

What kind of atmosphere are you living it? You can change it if you choose to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh.
