The Greatest Evidence for Christ

The greatest evidence for the existence of Christ is the existence of Christians. The presence of Christians in the world today cannot be objectively explained away apart from the real Person of Jesus Christ.

What started with one Man leading a small group of common men from various walks of life sprung into a movement that “turned the world upside down” in less than 25 years (Acts 17:6). By the end of the first century, Christians were everywhere. They infiltrated every rank of society and almost every province of the Roman Empire.  Like a stone dropped into a pond, Christianity spread like ripples in a pond. Jesus was the stone dropped into the pond.

Trying to imagine creation without a Creator leaves a hole in the universe that science has not been able to close. Likewise, Christianity without Christ leaves a hole in history that scholars cannot explain.

Try as they might, society can never separate Christmas from the Christ of CHRISTmas!  That’s why we still say, “Merry CHRISTMAS!”
