PAYDAY SOMEDAY

“Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” — Gal. 6:7

There is an immediate asset for sin but a long term liability. Conversely, there is an immediate liability for righteousness and a long term asset. If sin or righteousness yielded all that it would yield at the time it was done, nobody would sin and everyone would be righteous.

Do you know why I sin? That’s simple, because I like to sin. Sin offers immediate gratification, but there is a long term liability. Satan says, “Go ahead and do want ever you want. If it feels good, do it! And pay for it, on my extended payment plan!”

Remember, the pleasures of sin only last a short season (Heb. 11:25). Before you sin, take the long look and realize there will be a PAYDAY SOMEDAY.
