GRACE ABOUNDING

“Where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.” —Romans 5:20

Thank God for His grace! Where sin robs, grace restores… Where sin ruins, grace redeems… Where sin blackens, grace brightens… Where sin flows, grace overflows… Where sin abounds, grace much more abounds.

Some Christians fear putting too much emphasis on God grace. They have the notion that an over emphasis on grace will encourage people to sin. Really? I have found most people don’t need any encouragement to sin. People sin because they like to sin (Heb. 11:25). You have to like something more than sin in order to sin less.

People who are in love with Jesus, don’t have a big problem with sin, because they love Jesus more than they love sinning. If I could just get people to realize how much Jesus loves them, they would love Him more (1 John 4:19). The more they love Him, the more they would desire to please Him.

Remember, Jesus loves YOU like you were the only person on the planet to love. Doesn’t that make you want to love Him back?
