A Unique Ministry

While on my morning walk I passed Promised Land Baptist Church on Blair Road in Jacksonville, FL.  There camped on the church property was a very interesting outreach ministry—Amazing Horse Ministries. Rick and Rosemary Lane run this evangelistic ministry.

This is an amazing outreach tool using horses to open doors to spread the Gospel. As people drive or walk their “camp,” they see the horses and stop by to talk.  It isn’t long un til Rick uses a “bloodstone” to tell people about what Christ did for them on the cross. It is a very effective approach to witnessing.  Just yesterday (Friday) Rick and Rosemary lead a young lady to Christ. “Ye-Hah!” (That’s “Amen” in cowboy language!)

I’m excited to see how God uses different ways to open doors to witness. Do you have some talent or gadget God can use to tell the good news of Christ?  It could be something like a simple red colored stone or a horse!
