About

Married over fifty years, we grew up in the same neighborhood in Wayne, MI.

After we married and started our family, Al finished his education at Midwestern Baptist College in Pontiac MI and headed west in 1974 to start a local independent Baptist church in Washington State. We raised our four daughters in Washington and Vermont, before returning to Washington State for the biggest part of our lives.

Through the years, Al planted two churches and worked on staff as assistant / associate, besides being pastor to the Bible Baptist Church in Port Orchard WA for 32 years. He has been involved in at least six building programs.

After Al resigned the Port Orchard church in August 2018, we “hit the road” in our Airstream, for a time of refreshment and researching a possible location to serve God for the next phase of ministry.

UPDATE: In March 2019, God made it clear to us we should settle in Arizona, and provided a home for us. We have joined Canyon Springs Baptist Church in Apache Junction and seek to be a blessing to all pastors / preachers / congregations wherever God can use us.
