At the Alamo – San Antonio, TX

Saturday (2/9/19) Erich and Amy Lessing took Barb and I to San Antonio to visit the site of THE ALAMO.   The historic significance of the ground we were standing on was very sobering.  One of the most crucial battles in the history of Texas was fought on this hallowed ground from February 23 – March 6, 1836.  

“The Blood of Heroes” by James Donovan tells the story of the 13 day siege at the Alamo. I believe every American should visit The Alamo if they have the opportunity. It is well worth the trip!
