Breakdown

A few hundred miles from Lenoir, NC, the engine light of our truck came on. After camping in the front yard of our friends, Scott and Pam Barlow, I took the truck to a dealership in Wilksboro, NC. The news was not good.  Some serious internal damage to the engine. Will require two days to fix it. There is also a question if my warranty will cover the cost. Major expense. The dealership is checking with my warranty company about this.  Can’t begin the work until that is settled. That is where we are right now.  I hope to hear something today.

Meanwhile, we are grateful for friends like the Barlow’s who allow us to camp in their front yard (see picture). So far, the weather has been beautiful.  I am preaching at Refuge Baptist Church tonight.

Please pray that our warranty will cover the cost of these repairs and the work will be done soon.  I know God has us here for a reason and we are trusting God to supply and guide us.
