El Paso, TX — Mission’s Conference Reunion
Last night Barb and I attended a Mission’s Conference at Westside Baptist Temple in El Paso, TX. It is more like a Mission’s Revival! I was challenged again about the all important task of world-wide missions.
Pastor Carl Chitwood started Westside Baptist Temple 41 years ago and is still the Pastor. Herb Hutchinson is a missionary evangelist dedicated to strengthening the missions outreach of local churches. Steve Zeinner is a veteran missionary who now works assisting in Bible translations. We were all classmates and graduated from Midwestern in the 1970’s.
I was humbled and blessed to be with these three men of God last night. I thought to myself, “Praise God! These men have been faithfully serving God and spreading His Word for over 48 years!” What a testimony of faithfulness!
