GOD IS FOR YOU!

If God be for us, who can be against us? —Romans 8:31

What a blessed truth! God is for ME!

What have I to fear knowing God is for me? As the Psalmist said, “The Lord is on my side, I will not fear what man can do unto me” (Ps. 118:6).

When faced with an invasion by a vast Assyrian army, Hezekiah encouraged his people saying, “Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him: With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles” (2 Chron. 32:7-8).  That same God is our ally today!

God is on our side!  We can write our own names in the verse: “God is for Al Hughes.” Amen!  “God is for_____.” (Put your name in the blank.) Since God is for YOU, nothing else should matter! “Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4).

The believer should begin each new day realizing that God is for him. Before starting out on your day, say to yourself, “God is for me!”  If you would go about your day with that truth firmly established in your heart, you can face any difficulty that crosses your path! Selah!
