God Uses Men

“Come now, therefore, I will send thee.” — Exodus 3:10

When God sees the affliction of His people in Egypt He sends Moses to bring them out. Why a man? Why not send fire from heaven?  Why not just vaporize Pharaoh and his armies? Why send Moses when the arch angel Michael could have done the job?

God’s plan is to use men, like you and me! Wonder of wonders! He uses human instrumentality to bring about His divine ends. He works through man to liberate men. He empowers a “worm” and gives it teeth.

Christian, God wants to use you. On every side “Egypt” holds men captive. As God said to Moses, He says to you and me, “Come now, therefore, I will send thee!”  Will you answer His call and allow Him to use you to carry out His will?
