Good Vibrations!

Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens. —Psalm 148:4

Recently I read about how water is effected by certain sounds. Based on the research of Japanese author and entrepreneur Masaru Emoto, water reacts on a microscopic/molecular level to emotional sounds (loving words… praise… anger… hate).

Initially he believed water takes on the resonance of the energy that is directed at it.  Since 1999 Emoto has published several volumes of a work titled Messages from Water, which contains photographs of different water crystals formed by various sounds and music.

There is no mistaking the positive influence of love, praise, and thanksgiving. Likewise, there is also power in negative emotional sounds like anger and hate.

Water is a basic element. Water covers about 70% of our earth.  Your body is about two thirds water.  Now consider this:  If Emoto’s hypothesis is correct, your body is effected on a molecular level by the emotional environment around you. For example, when you are a church service where praise, thanksgiving, and love is being enunciated, a positive effect takes place in your body as water crystals are activated within you! Wow!

That is one reason why I like being in the presence of people who audibly send out “good vibrations” of love, praise, and thanksgiving. Likewise, I try to avoid those who are constantly critical, unloving, and hateful.
