Revival!

Tonight Barb and I took Brian & Roberta Bennett and Don & Shawn Kunnmann to a revival meeting at Faith Baptist Church in Lake Butler, FL.  Evangelist Tim Green, our good friend of many years, preached a great sermon on Revival.  We’ve known each other for about 45 years.  Brother Green has preached at Bible Baptist several times when I was the pastor there. He is also the editor of the devotional periodical “The Baptist Bread.”

In his sermon tonight Brother Green quoted A.W. Tozer, “Worship is no longer worship when it reflects the culture around us more than the Christ within us.” Amen!  Sadly, that is so obvious today.
