Solid Rock Baptist Church (Berlin, New Jersey)
Brother Charlie Clark is the Pastor of this great and thriving church. He started Solid Rock Baptist in 1981. I’ve known Brother Clark for many years. It was good to see him again after 40 years. I was honored to teach his Adult S.S. class this morning.
The church facility is located on about 30 acres of land. It is big and beautiful. Average attendance is about 1,500. The perimeter of the parking lot is almost ½ a mile! They have a Christian school, Bible College (90+ students), and large bus ministry. Another big event is their annual “Summit” conference each summer. Hundreds of preachers come from all over the United States to attend this special meeting. Check out the church website at: http://solidrockbaptist.org and https://solidrockinfo.org
Barb and I were blessed to visit our friends, Tim and Vicki Halstead. We were members at Galilean Baptist Church in Livonia, MI during the early 1970’s. Brother Tim and I used to carpool together while attending Midwestern.
I was also pleasantly surprised to see Brother Jim Fish at the church. We were classmates at Midwestern (1970-74). He pastored the Kings Way Baptist Church in New Jersey until he retired in 2015.
What a blessed time we enjoyed today! Praise the Lord. I’m looking forward to teaching a class in their Bible College tomorrow morning!

It was a tremendous day, both services! The music was excellent! The preaching was to the heart! Good stuff! Wonderful to renew acquaintances with college / church friends from long ago.
Amen! I’m also looking forward to teaching in their Bible College tomorrow morning (10/8/18).
