The Comfort of Dust

“…dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return” —Genesis 3:19

“All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust” —Job 34:15

All governmental leaders, whether they be good or bad, will eventually be turned to dust!  What a comforting truth!  Pharaoh, King Ahab, King Ahaz, Herod, Adolph Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Saddam Hussein, Osama Bin Laden are all dust. God has “dusted” them off!

Take comfort dear Christian—It does not matter who sits in the Oval Office, or Congress, or sits on the bench of the Supreme Court. They will not be there forever! They will all turn to dust!  It is God who “remainest forever” upon His throne (Lam. 5:19), and “ruleth in the kingdom of men” (Dan. 4:17, 25, 32; Prov. 8:15-16).

Thank God for that!
