The Cross and Your Pocketbook

“Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” —Matthew 6:21

A circus performer was training a oung man to perform on the flying trapeze. As he showed the trainee the process, he encouraged him saying: “Throw you heart over the trapeze bar and your body will follow.”

The same is true in the matter of Christian stewardship: “Throw you heart over the cross of Calvary and you body, your life, and your pocketbook will follow.”
