The Ship of Zion

The Ship of Zion

“The weapons of our warfare and not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds” (2 Cor. 10:4)

The ship of Zion is a battleship, not a pleasure cruiser.

Difference between a cruise ship and a battleship.

1. A cruise ship is filled with passengers waiting to be served while a handful of people work at meeting their every need. A cruise ship is all about fun, love, and relaxation.

2. A battleship floats on the same water, but everyone has a job to do, a role to play, and a position to fill. A battle ship is on mission. A cruise ship is just sailing around and enjoying the sights.

Sadly, the church often resembles a cruise ship rather than a battle ship.

“Fight the good fight of faith”
(1 Tim. 6:12).
