Thoughts on a “Sign”

    While on my morning walk recently I noticed this sign in the front yard of someone’s house:

    As I continued on my walk, I had the following thoughts about this “sign.” 

1.     “Love is Love.”  What a senseless statement. It says absolutely nothing. You cannot define a word with the same word.  It makes about as much sense as saying, “Man is Man,” or “Woman is Woman,” or “Boy is Boy,” or “Girl is Girl,” or “Black is Black” (of course, the author of this sign would never say “Man is man” or “Woman is woman”).  The Bible however has a clear definition of “Love.” “God is love” (1 John 4:8, 16).  Now that says something!  If you don’t know God, you don’t know what real love is. 

2.     “Science is Real.”  Well, that depends on what you mean by “science.”  1 Timothy 6:20 talks about, “oppositions of science falsely so called.”  Whenever “science” opposes God’s Word it is not real science—Rather, it is “science falsely so called.” For example, evolution is not real science. It is a flimsy theory concocted to accommodate the lifestyles of atheists and agnostics! 

3.     “No Human Is Illegal.”  Hummmm?  What about an unborn baby?  Are you saying that an unborn baby, with a beating heart, is not human?  Are convicted felons legal to roam in your neighborhood? 

4.     “All Lives Matter.” This statement has a ring of truth to it.  However, I can almost guarantee that whoever posted this sign doesn’t really believe this statement.  Does “all lives matter” mean the life of an unborn baby matters? 

5.     “Women’s Rights are Human Rights.” Here is a typical slice of baloney from the liberal’s deep freeze.  Who says anyone, human or otherwise, has any “rights” at all? Thomas Jefferson presumed in the Declaration of Independencethat “all men have been endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights.”  Where did Jefferson get that idea?  NOT FROM THE BIBLE!  The Bible teaches only God has “rights” and the only “right” you and I have is the right to obey God!

    Obviously, whoever posted this sign in their front yard is not a Bible believer.  It is the usual political claptrap from a misinformed liberal.
