Truck Repair Update
UPDATE: The warranty on our truck will NOT pay for the repairs (camshaft, lifters, etc.). We will have to pay for the repairs out of our shallow pockets. While we are little disappointed, we believe God did not lead us this far to abandon us in our need. He will supply… somehow!
The repairs will not be finished until Monday (Oct. 29). Praise God, we will have another opportunity this Sunday to be under the preaching of Pastor Darren Peterson at Refuge Baptist! What a blessing! After that we will hit-the-road again for the Raleigh, NC area.
God has been so good to us. We’ve enjoyed some sweet fellowship with the Barlow family while camped in their yard for the past 10 days. The services at Refuge Baptist have been so edifying! The weather has been great! God blessed last night as I preached at Refuge Baptist. My sermon was from Philippians 4:11 on “contentment.” Wow! I needed that message!
Bottom line: Praise the Lord, anyhow! Please, keep us in your prayers. [Also, pray the truck will not breakdown again.] Thanks!

We are so blessed to have you guys. I’m sorry that your truck broke down but I’m glad that God is in control and he does have a plan. He allowed you to be close by us and not out in the middle of nowhere. And in the meantime we are getting to catch up with you guys and be blessed with your company. Love you guys and it’s so good to spend time with you again.
Hi you two. Sorry your truck broke down. I think the Lord knew your bodies needed some rest to recover from bronchitis and poor Charming’s allergies. The Barlow’s are so blessed to have you near, so don’t fret. I am sure everyone who reads this has you in their prayers cause we all love you and miss you so much.
God knew about this and planned a safe place for us at Barlow’s during the maintenance time. He still has a plan for the expenses… He’s got this!
