What Have You Been Accused of Lately?

“Whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.” —1 Peter 3:16

As I read through the book of Acts, I see how the world accused the early church of many things.

(1) They were accused of filling Jerusalem with their doctrine (Acts 5:28). Have you filled your neighborhood, workplace, school with Bible doctrine?

(2) Even the devil accused the Apostles, “…These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation” (Act 16:17). Could unsaved people accuse you of being a servant of God who shows people “the way of salvation?” How many people have you showed how to be saved lately?

(3) They were accused of turning the world upside down (Acts 17:6). What a wonderful thing to say about the church! Any time a person gets saved, their world is turned upside down! Let’s turn someone’s world upside down with the transforming power of the Gospel!

If you’re going to be accused, let it be for something good!
