WHO’S YOUR MASTER?
“Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.” —Matthew 8:19
Webster says a master is “a male person having another living being so far subject to his will, that he can, in the main, control his or its actions.” In that sense Jesus should be our master.
When you see a dog following two men, how can you tell which man is the dog’s master? When the men come to a “parting of the ways” and each go in a different direction, the dog will follow his master.
Do people know who your master is? They’ll know by who (or what) you follow after.
