At Prairie View Baptist Church (9/2/18)
Barb and I attended the Prairie View Baptist Church in Moorcroft, WY today. Joshua Clark has only been the pastor here for about a month. Besides us, the service was attended by Brother Clark’s family (Joshua, Rebecca, Roland, Wallace, William, Levi, and Cecilia), his father & mother-in-law, and another father with his son. Although the attendance was small, the message was huge! Since the church did not have a regular piano player, Barb played for the song service and did a good job. Brother Clark’s wife, Rebecca, sang a beautiful song before the sermon. Brother Clark preached about three attributes from 1 Corinthians 15:8-11 that made Paul a success—His humility (v. 9); His hard work (v. 10); and his honorability (vs. 10-11). After the service we enjoyed some sweet fellowship over lunch in the church basement.
Brother Clark is a good man with a strong desire to see this church grow. I hope you will pray for him, his family, and the growth of this good local church. Please send him a note that you will pray for him. His address is: P.O. Box 739, Moorcroft, WY 82721. I’m sure he’d be encouraged to hear from you.
