Have You Asked Jesus to Come Into Your Heart?

Asking Jesus Into Your Heart?

Preachers argue about some of the most trivial things. I’ve heard some preachers argue about people who “ask Jesus to come into their heart.”  If someone prays in faith, “Lord Jesus, come into my heart and save me,” does that mean they are not saved?

The Bible says, “That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith” (Eph. 3:17). Romans 10:10 says, “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness…” Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall CALL upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

How silly! If a Christian gets a heart transplant, do they need to get saved again?  Or, if an unsaved man gets a heart transplant from a Christian—Does that mean he is saved?  Obviously, when the Bible refers to the “heart” it is speaking of the innermost part of a person’s being—Their soul.

We’ve got a world dying and going to hell and yet people argue over the terminology of salvation and miss the true meaning. When I got saved, I didn’t know how to pray. I just prayed, “God, please ‘born me again.’”  The terminology might not have been exactly right, but God saw my HEART and saved me anyway! Praise God!

Dear friend, if you called on the Lord Jesus to “come into your heart” in faith, you’re saved!  If you have not done that, do it now, before it is too late!
