Vermont Covered Bridges
Vermont is also noted for it’s many covered bridges. There are over 100 authentic covered bridges in Vermont. Vermont has the highest number of covered bridges per square mile in the United States. Here is one I walked past today between Barton and Glover on Highway 16. It is called the Sugarmill Farm Covered Bridge. There is also a post card featuring this bridge (see below).

Don’t know how we missed seeing covered bridges when we drove through Vermont on our way to Maine in 2011. They are really so interesting.
Some day we will have to visit there. Looks beautiful.
It is worth the trip, especially in early October. Beautiful. Stunning foliage.
I believe you showed us this bridge. Love the countryside.
We never saw this bridge before this trip, and its just across the road from the church and down a quarter mile!
