Vermont Backroads

Vermont Backroads

This morning I went for a walk down an unpaved backroad in Vermont.   Vermont has a beauty all it’s own. Here are few typical scenes you would find in Vermont.

Sugar Maple lines to harvest maple sugar to produce real Vermont maple syrup. Yummm.

  1. Our grandson, Josh, was born on Oct 13, 2007 when they lived in Maine. We went to visit and the news said the leaves were the most vibrant colors they had been for years! I had always wanted to see Vermont and we drove through there on our way to visit Trevor in New York. Unfortunately, both ways through Vermont was in the dark. I was so disappointed! Maine had the beautiful leaves, but I really wanted to *see* Vermont! Someday we will go back!!

    1. Hopefully we will be out of Vermont long before the snow flies. Although it has been known to snow as early as late September.

    1. Vermont is still as beautiful as ever (but it’s politics stink!). Nice place to visit, but I don’t want to live here again (unless the Lord says otherwise!).

  2. Beautiful, Vermont has always been on my “bucket list”. Thanks for sharing, I look forward to seeing and reading about your travels.

    1. The best time to visit Vermont is in early to mid October. I hope you can visit sometime. When you do, be sure to visit Barton Baptist Church!
